Description:
Perennial tufted herbs with a fleshy rootstock. Stems 10-75 cm long, branching below inflorescence. Leaves alternate or sometimes the lowermost opposite. An uncommon species.

Flowering:
Flowers September to May.

Threats:
Easily overgrown by more vigorous species.

Management:
Grows easily from seed in open, grassy areas.
