Description:
A very widespread fern. Individuals multiply very freely from offsets and build up into a large clump.

Flowering:
Nil.

Threats:
Probably its biggest problem is being taken over by blackberry and then killed with blackberry spray as happened to an absolutely beautiful colony near Heathfield Primary School.

Management:
Avoid using blackberry spray near it.
