Pterostylis longifolia

Description:
Rather rigid, 10-80 cm high; basal rosette not present on flowering plants. Once common throughout the Aldgate Valley, it is now rare.

Flowering:
Flowers June to October.

Threats:
Easily overgrown by more vigorous species.

Management:
Gradually expands by bulb multiplication. Rarely seeds and seems to have lost its pollinator. Therefore needs to be hand pollinated
