Description:
An exceptionally striking orchid which is rare in the Aldgate Valley but occurs in sandy well drained situations. Only recorded in the Adelaide Hills near Meadows.

Flowering:
Flowering occurs September to November..

Threats:
Looks after itself once established. Need to mow occasionally in summer.

Management:
Appears (if you are lucky) on sandy well-drained soil after clearing woody weeds.
