4th August - Pultenaea acerosa - Bristly Bush-pea

Pultenaea acerosa

Small rigid much branched shrub 30-100 cm high

Flowering occurs from August through to December.

Since it is a pioneering species it can disappear if there are no events such as fire.

The Bristly Bush-pea is a woody weed and can become a problem if it is allowed to take over. It may also need suitable events to allow the seedbank, in the soil, to germinate and create another seedbank
